Kate Putnam – Takes An Active Role

Kate Putnam holds a world of experience through her educational opportunities, her professional experience, and her involvement in the community.
 
Kate began her education at the University of New Hampshire in Durham, NH where she received her Bachelor’s in communication and marketing. During her University degree she was also able to study abroad in London at the Regents College. This was a great opportunity for Kate, which is why she eagerly jumped at the opportunity. During her time at the University of NH Kate was a member of the Women’s Crew Team. Kate was on the woman’s crew team for over four years and was one of the top rowers. Rowing is one of the most physically demanding sports out there and it truly takes a lot of dedication and hard work in order to be good and competitive in the sport.
 
Kate Putnam has worked at Breckenridge Grand Vacations, where she was the marketing guest services manager, at White Rock Independent Living Community, as the General manager, and Attitash Grand Summit Hotel, where she currently works as the Senior Sales Manager. At each of these positions Kate had to be able to fulfill many tasks. Some of the major tasks included general management of employees, project management, negotiated, completed, and submitted all contracts with vendors, maintained relations with all co-workers, residents, or vendors involved through her use of good communication skills, conflict resolution, problem solving, marketing research, financial audits, and so much more.
 
Professionally Kate has achieved so much in such a short career. She was the youngest female to be awarded a national award for innovative ideas and customer service, she created the Employee Assistance Fund and the board as a young and new member of the executive team, was the ten time award winning employee of the month at Breckenridge Grand Vacations, to name a few.
 
Kate has also been very active in the community and has accomplished many things. She is responsible for all marketing and decisions which are collaboratively made within the Concord Young Professional Marketing and Steering Committee, at Bow Rotary she is on the new member committee and marketing committee, she is the Vice President of the Central New Hampshire bicycling Coalition Board of Directors, She maintains her CPR certification, she was a student of Leadership Mount Washington Valley Class, and she was on the Memorial Hospital Foundation Gala Planning Committee where she helped plan and execute fundraising for the Gala.
